Wireless World Initiative New Radio+

is a consortium of 29 partners co-ordinated by Nokia Siemens Networks to develop, optimise and evaluate  IMT-Advanced -compliant technologies by integrating innovative and cost-effective additional concepts and functions providing an evolution path towards further improved performance of IMT-Advanced. Innovations are expected in radio-resource management, spectrum sharing and its flexible usage, exploitation of peer-to-peer links between user terminals, incorporation of network coding and advanced antenna concepts.
