WP1 - Project Management, Dissemination, Exploitation and Architecture definition:
This Work Package (WP) will monitor the overall performance of the
project, assess conformity of the results with the project goals,
ensure the optimal administration of project resources, etc. Moreover,
it will promote project activities through scientific publications,
contributions to standardization bodies, etc.
WP2 - Advanced Self-management in the Home Network:
This WP will focus on the definition and development of solutions for
the self management (provision, supervision, diagnosing and healing) of
the home network. The WP will produce an end-to-end management platform
that will allow the remote management of the home network, and that
will be based in the architecture developed in Celtic Encompas2
project. It will also produce a Self-management architecture that will
allow the local management of the home network, taking into
consideration work undertaken in AUTHONE project. Both
architectures will make use of autonomic computing technologies to give
the whole platform autonomous management behaviour. This WP will
work in parallel with WP3 and WP4, and will deliver its work to WP6.
WP3 - Enhanced Content Experience:
This WP will focus on the definition and implementation of some
scenarios enabling an enhanced content experience described in previous
clauses: ubiquitous access to home contents, unified catalogue for all
content types, content storage abstraction model for the home network,
and study of high bit rate and low consumption technologies to download
or exchange content in the home environment.
WP5 - Scenarios Integration, Validation and Field Trials:
this WP will focus on the integration of all hardware and software
modules, middleware, platforms, tools, and systems that have been
developed in the rest of WPs in order to implement the demonstrators.
After the demonstrator integration, numerous field trials,
experimentation and evaluations will be performed.
