This project is organized into a work package structure.
Starting from high level business cases, a requirement analysis is performed (WP2). It leads to the definition of a functional architecture that can fulfill project requirements and the specification of a field test that can demonstrate it. Definition study is carried on up to provide the global design of the system that will be implemented during the planned test.
Technical work is then following. It is begun by improving the existing DRM platform with the basic improvements of OMA DRM 2.0 extension and by the development of new streaming capabilities, mainly dedicated to audio and video content (WP3).
While OMA DRM 2.0 basic mechanisms are being implemented, a given effort is applied in two directions:
All technical developments are integrated into a test-bed platform that is experimented by a group of selected customers (WP6).
Project work plan is complemented with two auxiliary work packages, one dedicated for project management (WP1) and the other for result exploitation (WP7).
The project duration is 30 months, from 07/2007 to 12/2009.
